Finally here ... it's a boy!

It's a great day to welcome a new little baby into the world! Mamma and baby are doing great! 9# 8 oz

Chris is still on a natural high from a "natural" delivery - doesn't even look tired!



We all can't believe how much he looks like Cash. But now that he's fluffing up a bit, I see Haley too! He's a good combo baby and so sweet!



He can spread his phalanges just like daddy! Looks like a little bear paw!
Haley brought her camera to take her own pics of new brother!

Good thing I made two hats, one already doesn't fit!


Here's a little snippit of the day! A lotta love in that room and more in phone calls and family far away! It'd be great if we all remembered our own moments of this time to remind we EACH truly are special and encircled in family arms to be loved and succeed! xo

Happy Birthday Todd!

It's official! As of 10:13am, Todd is 28 years old! Crazy, cuz it doesn't seem that long ago, it was our little people runnin around under foot. Now those little people have their own little ones, that look and act just like them!

Mom always said it was gonna be a blink, and it was!

Tho, it's your birthday, it's also a special day for mom's because it's one of those days the world stops and each moment stays in focus. Birth days remain the greatest days that give a glimpse into eternity, forever change your life and is indelibly printed in your mind.
Our family has been so blessed by Todd's contributions of pure love and acceptance of everyone/thing, as he is the true peacemaker spoken of in the scriptures. He is the perfect example of "come what may, and love it!"

We celebrated Todd's bday early just in case new baby shows up.





No boy birthday is complete without riding gear! Tanner can't wait!

St Patty's BMX Races

After our traditional Irish dinner, we were happy to hang outside on this 80 degree day (love Texas weather!). Eventually things for us, come around to the next competition or race, but this time it involved the little people. Before we knew it they were racing down our hill (in unsteerable scooters) and Andy and Todd running after them!

I was proud of Abby who held her breath on the sidelines, because this WAS dangerous! (And the boys do need helmets!)

Tanner was looking for Haley Mae and Cash,
"C'mon, let's do it again - this is fun! We're like our daddy's!"


Cash (aka Hercules), who diverted to 4-wheeling on the grass, says,
"Gotcha! I'm comin!"

the abyss

Here's a scarey bit of news. We have an OLD OLD hand-dug well on our property that was covered up with scrap concrete and a rusty bbq cover. In light of recent well accidents involving little people, we decided to uncover the unknown to see what lies below.

It's 35 feet deep!

Needless to say, no resting until we cleaned and COVERED it up!

We rescued a family of gecko's and Todd enjoyed lunch with this snake!

It is now safe to play hide 'n seek at our house! xo

Yes, we can!

Maybe because it's birthday season, or watching how each member of our family, big or small, makes a difference, causes this blurb to loudly speak. Any parent will agree the creation of a child (however we get them here) is incredible, but there are other magnificent creations, especially the small and simple, daily good we each can do, makes a difference. (and recession proof!)

I didn't have many new years goals this year, but two were - take a daily picture, and do some good today! President Uchtdorf says it best! (pause the mood music)

Chris is such a cute prego lady! We were stopped at the park the other day by a group of moms telling her how cute she is and how you can't tell from the back she's packin a baby!

She's ready, and steering clear of today, Friday the 13th, we're excited to greet the new little one straight from the heavens!
